MFL Spanish Trip to Andalucia

MFL Spanish Trip to Andalucia

During the October half term, pupils in Years 9-13 participated on a Spanish Trip to Granada in Andalucia.

Highlights of the trip included a Spanish walking tour of Granada, which featured a visit to the Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex originally constructed in AD 889. Pupils also enjoyed three hours of Spanish lessons in a school located in the old silk market area of Granada with one of the classrooms featuring its own well!

An evening of Flamenco dancing in the caves was also a bit hit with the girls and staff and the trip finished with an action-packed walking tour of Cordoba featuring stunning views of Los Patios and the Cordoba Mosque (Meqzuita) Cathedral.
