Marist Summer Learning Challenge 2017

Marist Summer Learning Challenge 2017

The summer holidays provide an excellent opportunity to take students’ learning beyond the confines of normal lessons and curriculum. With this in mind, towards the end of the Summer Term 2017, we launched our second Summer Independent Learning Challenge.

This year’s challenge featured over 50 independent learning ideas, suggested by Heads of Departments, arranged according to subject. Activities included films to watch, books to read, exhibitions to visit, websites to explore and many more interactive activities.

Most activities were compiled with Year 7-10 students in mind although we received a number of entries from siblings and parents.

We are now delighted to announce our winning entries from this year’s Summer Independent Learning Challenge 2017:

Liadáin B (Year 7)

Kate D (Year 7)

Sophie E (Year 8)

Poppy P (Year 8)

Sarah S ( Year 8)

Natasha H (Year 10)
