Head Girls Enter CORE Economics Challenge

Head Girls Enter CORE Economics Challenge

Congratulations to our Marist Head Girls, Claudia and Naoise, for participating in the CORE Schools Economics Challenge 2018.

Launched by the CORE Project, with help from their partners, Financial Times Secondary Schools, the CORE Schools Economic Challenge is an opportunity for students across the world to create an accessible and entertaining short video on an economic topic.

Following this year’s theme of “Ten years on from the global financial crisis”, the Sixth Form students produced an incisive video explaining the influence of speculative demand for Bitcoin. Claudia and Naoise have both been awarded certificates for their entry.
