Bebras Success For Katherine And Isabella

Bebras Success For Katherine And Isabella

Congratulations to Year 6 pupils Katherine and Isabella who have qualified for the University of Oxford Computing Challenge after achieving high scores in the UK Bebras Challenge.

In November 2017, all Marist KS2 pupils took part in the UK Bebras Challenge, which introduces computational thinking to students. Following the results, Katherine received a certificate for 'Best In School', after achieving the highest score in the school, and Isabella received a Certificate of Distinction.

The top 10% achieving students in the UK Bebras Challenge are then invited to take part in the TCS University of Oxford Computing Challenge, which aims to help talented computational thinkers develop by challenging them to solve tasks with programmed solutions. Katherine and Isabella now look forward to participating in the TCS Challenge, due to take place in school during the week of the 12th to 16th March 2018.

Good luck girls!
